Here is a bit of history of Stanley, and how he came into our family, our lives and hearts.

Have you ever heard the phrase there is always room for jello?  Well with Aimee there is always room for a new kitty, and while we were living on an extreme side of the city, Aimee heard about a kitten that needed to be rescued on a complete different side of another city, to say it was a 4 hour bus ride one way was besides the point, and needed to be rescued because the owners choose to abuse him as a kitten simply because they didn't want a male cat, and by the time I was on my way home, I had met Aimee along with a cat carrier, with a small kitten inside.

I was amazed at how quiet, and chilled and calm he was, to the point where children were coming up asking to meet Stanley, who greatly welcomed the attention.

And that seems to be the theme of his life, he just wanted attention, and it didn't matter if it was a child, (To which he would play with them all he could he would have them chase him around and then cuddle with them when he had them all tired out) he would sit and beg for attention to anyone.

We had a friend who was terrified of cats, and he worked on her and never gave up to the point where she was no longer afraid, and even loved cats.

He would never forget a friend of his, he would come running out crazy to visit them, no mater how long it was since he last seen them.

He had a 200 pound Great Pyrenees a beautiful dog, and while most cats would shy away from a dog that big, not Stanley, he would go running to him, and be by his side.

Due to a slum lord issue we moved in with our friend, and she has 4 cats, while we had 2, and you wouldn't believe it, Stanley was having the time of his life playing with all the other cats, and made quick friends, and to the last he was the entertainer, the center of attention, and everyone's best friend.

Stanley was more than a pet, he was my service cat, who would alert me when I was to have a seizure, or other bad situation, and he had saved me from so much.

As of February 12th, when I woke up, Stanley passed over to be with our father and spend time forever with all the other animals who ever was.

We had no idea he was sick,  we have our suspicions to what happened, but at the end of the day, he spent his time making everyone else happy and make their lives better, so that is how we will remember him.

To some he was "just a cat"  to me, my wife, and those who knew him, he was a real friend, a buddy, comfort, and my child.

We will miss you Stanley, more than you will ever know, thank you for being a part of our family, will never forget you, and will always love you.
